Mariupol State University (MSU)

Mariupol State University or the MSU - was founded in 1991 as the College of Humanities of Mariupol, and in 1993 converted to Mariupol Humanitarian University. And in 1994 have been based Faculty of Philology. History, Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and Economics and Law opened in 1995. There are 8 faculties and 11 specialties. After the conference there on the problems of the Ukrainian-Greek relations developed a top priority - the history of the Greek diaspora in Ukraine and Hellenism. In 1999, another is an international conference with participation of members from the countries of Russia, Georgia, Greece, Ukraine, on the issue of Greek-Ukrainian relations. Since 2004, the Mariupol Humanitarian University was transformed into a university. In 2008 there were more than 4,500 students, of which nearly a thousand in distance learning.
